The Overall Rating is based on exceptional performance across five quality measures, including mortality, safety readmission, patient experience, and timely and effective care. 51萝莉uu社区视频 is the only hospital in the Inland Northwest to earn a Five-Star Overall Rating and one of only 13% of all hospitals in the nation to earn this achievement.
American College of Radiology Accreditation |
Kootenai Outpatient Imaging is one of 300 facilities in the U.S. to be designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). To earn this designation, Kootenai’s breast imaging services have been fully accredited in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
Kootenai Outpatient Imaging was also commended in peer-review evaluations conducted by physicians and medical physicists, which noted high practice standards for image quality, personnel qualifications, facility equipment, quality control procedures, and quality assurance programs.

Level III NICU
In 2016, Kootenai was named a Level III NICU. We can care for babies born as early as 28 weeks gestation, and those as small as 2 pounds. All nursing and respiratory therapy staff have undergone the education and training necessary to provide Level III intensive care to our neonates.
